Apparently my work here is done... almost.
At least that's what my 3 year old informed me of this morning.
Him: "I can do everything by myself. Everything except get off my tank top."
Me: "So I guess you don't need me anymore."
Him (very matter-of-factly): "Nope. Just when I need to get my tank top off."
Then said boy runs off to play, leaving me in a sobbing heap.

Love it. Don't worry, you'll be needed for the tank tops all summer at least. :)
Don't Worry... it's really a good thing... you don't want your kids to depend on you... and believe there will be something very soon he'll need you for.
oh how i love that preschool logic...
& don't even think of coimg to his aid if he's wearing a shortsleeve shirt
:)
just wait for age 4....oh my, I have finally realized that I know nothing. (But they are so cute!)
Thank goodness for long hot summers!! And their cuteness really does save their behinds most of the time... erk. If this is a glimpse into teenager-hood, I think I"m headed for the nut house!
Little stinker breaks his mom's heart and has no idea. He'll need you at snack time I am sure. ;)
